When using Vietnam Visa On Arrival to enter Vietnam, you will receive the visa approval letter before coming to Vietnam.

You normally share this letter with many other people who apply Visa On Arrival at the same date with you. The visa approval letter contains up to 40 people inside, and all people on the list will see all information of the others (full name, date of birth, gender, passport number, entry date to Vietnam, etc.).

In case you want to keep your information secret, you can ask for the privacy protection service. There are two kinds of services you can choose:

• One person in one letter: Only your name is showed in the visa approval letter, so no one know your information. Extra fee: 6 USD.
• Your group in one letter: Only your group’s name in the visa approval letter. If you go with friends, family members, etc., you can choose this type to keep your group’s information secret. Extra fee: 8 USD.
