Processing time for Vietnam labor permit application for foreign workers

Processing time for a labor permit application depends on each case.

+ For new labor permit application: It is necessary to submit an explanation of the need to recruit foreign workers at least 30 days in advance. After completing the set of documents required by law, submitting a new application and after 7 working days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holidays) you can receive a labor permit.

+ For reissuance labor permit: It is necessary to submit an explanation of the need to recruit foreign workers at least 30 days in advance and submit the application for reissuance at least 5 days, but not more than 45 days before expiry date of the old labor permit. From 3 to 5 days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holidays), it is possible to receive labor permit result.
