Facing with the complicated situation of the Coronavirus epidemic, Vietnamese government has agreed to stop granting visas to all countries from 0:00 AM on March 15, 2020. This is the most powerful action of the Vietnamese government ever in the prevention of an increasingly widespread disease.
The suspension of visas is expected to be carried out for at least 1 month, until April 15, 2020 or until the epidemic is under better control. Thus, all visa applications submitted after 0:00 AM on March 15, 2020 will not be accepted. Visitors will have no way to apply for a Vietnam visa since March 15.
For individuals who already had visa before and do not belong to prohibited cases from entry, after March 15, they can still use valid visas to enter Vietnam. Medical control measures will be strictly enforced prior to entry.
For individuals who wish to enter Vietnam before this regulation takes effect, they can apply for an emergency visa and enter the country before March 15, 2020 via the link https://www.vietnam-evisa.com/apply/. Urgent visas can be processed within 4 working hours and you can enter as soon as the visa is approved.
For individuals who enter Vietnam after March 15, we strongly recommend that you should delay traveling and wait until the disease situation is under better control. You can contact us via email info@vietnam-evisa.com, as soon as the visa policy reopens, we will notify you immediately.
