Norway is one of eight countries which are canceled the unilateral visa exemption policy from Vietnam, according to the latest information from the Vietnamese government.

Europe has just witnessed a rapid rise in Coronavirus-positive cases, prompting many countries to tighten their entry and exit policies. In Vietnam, the Vietnamese government’s many-hour meeting on the afternoon of March 9, 2020 came to a conclusion: Canceling all 15-day visa-free programs for citizens from 8 countries, including UK, France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. Citizens from all countries above are required to have a visa to enter Vietnam.

Although Norwegian citizens must apply for a visa to enter Vietnam from now on, the visa application process is very simple. Norwegian citizens only need to visit the website https://www.vietnam-evisa.com/apply/ and fill in the online visa application form. After 2 working days, the visa will be sent to the visa applicant’s email.

Vietnam visa is a one-time or multiple entry visa, valid for 1 month or 3 months. Even if you just stay in Vietnam for a few days, you must apply for one month. This will not affect your journey.
