Before arrival

Step 1: Access the website of tourism agencies, then downloading the online application form and completing it by filling in some required information such as name, passport (the number or the validity), date of birth, the type of visa (the length of stay with single or multiple entry).
Step 2: Do the online payment. Credit card and debit card and master card are accepted through paypal gateway.
Step 3: Receive the approval letter via email after 48 working hours. It is possible to use the express service and get this letter earlier with the extra fee. It would be around 24 hours or even 4 hours.
In addition, the approval letter will probably show you a list of up 40 applicants. If it doesn’t mind you, you can use it. If not, you can also require the private letter with a little bit extra fee.
This letter is used for:
- Present it for boarding the airplane
- With this letter, you will be proven to be able to get the visa stamp on arrival or not
- You will know exactly about the entry date and exit date in the approval letter. You can enter from the entry date and leave before its expiration.
After arrival
You will be needing to look for the Visa On Arrival counter at the airport. Each airport has its own name such as Landing Visa, Visa Upon Arrival, Visa Application… Then submitting the below compulsory documents:
- The approval letter (print it out)
- The visa application form (print it out). It would be better to download and complete it in advance. If not, you can also get it from the officer.
- Original passport. Its validity must be at least 6 months and there are still at least 2 blank pages. If your passport’s validity is less than 6 months, you can’t enter Vietnam.
- Photos (2 photos in the size of 4×6)
- The visa stamp fee (in cash)
