Before arrival

Step 3: Receive the approval letter via email after 48 working hours. It is possible to use the express service and get this letter earlier with the extra fee. It would be around 24 hours or even 4 hours.

This letter is used for:

After arrival

• The approval letter (print it out)
• The visa application form (print it out). It would be better to download and complete it in advance. If not, you can also get it from the officer.
• Original passport. Its validity must be at least 6 months and there are still at least 2 blank pages. If your passport’s validity is less than 6 months, you can’t enter Vietnam.
• Photos (2 photos in the size of 4×6)
