There are some ways to make your duration of stay in Vietnam longer.

1/ You can leave the country and re-enter to renew your visa. But this way is more complicated, and it costs much money and time.

2/ You can also do a visa extension without leaving Vietnam.

The question is, you are in Vung Tau, how can you do this visa extension.

In fact, only the 3 biggest cities (Ha Noi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh city) can do visa extension. Therefore, you should find out a travel agency in Ho Chi Minh city to help you extend your stay. You can directly come to Ho Chi Minh (120 km far away from Vung Tau) to request it, or you can also ask through email. Please see detail procedure here:

Step 1: Check whether your visa can extend or not, and how much does it cost

Please take picture of:

• Your passport information page
• Your Vietnam visa
• The Immigration stamp

Then send them to us via email: info@vietnam-evisa.com, and don’t forget to let us know how long you want to extend it.

After receiving your request, we will send back to you the information and the price through email.

Step 2: Submit passport and make payment

In this step, you can come directly to us or only send the passport through post office. You also can pay online or in cash.

Step 3: Get back passport

After processing time, we will send back to you passport which is already extended your stay.
