Tet Holiday 2019 is coming soon, and the Immigration Department, which issues visa for foreigner, will be off from 2/2 – 10/2/2019. All visa orders which are applied on this period will be processed after Tet holiday.

Only emergency visa requests will be processed on Tet holiday, and for applying an emergency visa, you have to pay much more money than normal case. So, in case you visit Vietnam in Tet holiday, you should:

1/ Apply Visa at least 1 week before the first day off in Tet holiday (2/2/2019). It normally takes 2 working days for processing visa, but you should apply 1 week in advance for avoiding risk.

2/ Pay emergency fee for urgent processing visa on Tet holiday if you forget to apply in advance. In Tet holiday, only a few emergency cases are considered and granted visa. So, you have to pay extra fee to get it in the supper peak period of time. The shorter time you get, the more money you pay. You can get visa in 1 day, 4 hours, 2 hours, and even 1 hour!

Please note: The Immigration Department, which issues Vietnam visa, will be off in Tet holiday; But The Immigration Office at the airports, which stick visa on your passport, always works 24/7. So, when you get the visa approval letter from us, you surely can get visa at the airport.
