Phu Quoc airport is an international airport in Phu Quoc island city, Vietnam. To obtain visa on arrival at this airport, you should have these documents in advance:
1/ Visa Approval Letter: This is the document issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department, stating that the people inside can get visa on arrival at the international airports. Furthermore, there are some Airlines request this letter before allowing the passengers boarding. All people using visa on arrival need this document for picking up visa stamp on arrival.
2/ Vietnamese visa application form: This is the form that the Immigration collect your information before allowing to enter Vietnam. You need to fill in, glue photo on it.
3/ Photo: Prepare at least two 4x6cm photos to glue on the Vietnamese visa application form.
4/ Original passport: Must be valid at least 6 months from the date entering Vietnam and having 2 blank pages.
5/ Stamp fee: Prepare in cash (USD or VND) for paying stamp fee on arrival. We recommend you paying in USD because of good balance exchange.
When you arrive Phu Quoc airport in Phu Quoc island city, you will see “landing visa counter” where issues visa on arrival. This office is in front of passport control counter. You come to this office and submit your original passport + visa approval letter + Vietnamese visa application form. You have to wait a while for being called in your turn.

When the officer calls your name, you pay the visa stamp fee and get your passport back with visa stamp inside. At that time, you are officially allowed to enter Vietnam.
You take your original passport and come to passport control counter, then doing the immigration checks, and entering Vietnam.
